ER Collet Introduction

ER collet, commonly known as spring collet, is a drill chuck mounted on the spindle of a machine tool. Its function is to lock the connection between the tool and the spindle.

ER collet is a kind of collet, the connection tool between the tool holder and the CNC tool.

The ER collet is invented and manufactured by the Swiss company REGO-FIX. Nowadays, it is widely used in various machining clamping fields. Mainly used for drilling, milling, reaming, tapping and grinding.

Due to the design of 16 grooves, it allows a large clamping range and has the best radial runout error at the same time

And it is divided into ER8, ER11, ER16, ER20, ER25, ER32, ER40 and ER50 specifications, which are suitable for all tool holders.
