1. The guide rail surface is not parallel to the work surface. The reason for this phenomenon is: there are debris between the bottom of the vise and the work surface, and the guide surface itself is not allowed. Therefore, attention should be paid to eliminating burrs and chips, and the guide rail should be checked if necessary. The parallelism of the surface and the work surface.

2. The cylindricity of the milling cutter is not allowed when milling parallel surfaces, no matter whether the installation direction of the jaws of the vise is parallel or perpendicular to the spindle, if the cylindricity of the milling cutter is inaccurate, it will affect the parallelism of the parallel surface. If the table is not parallel, the parallelism of the machined surface will also be affected.

3. The reference surface is not parallel to the guide surface of the vise: This is the main reason for the poor milling quality of the parallel surface. The factors that cause the unevenness between the reference surface and the guide surface of the vice are as follows:

(1) The thickness of the parallel pads is not equal: the two parallel pads for processing parallel surfaces should be ground simultaneously on the surface grinder.

(2) There are sundries between the upper and lower surfaces of the parallel pads, the workpiece and the guide rail: when placing the parallel pads and clamping the workpiece, wipe them clean.

(3) The movable jaw is upturned during clamping: there is a small gap between the movable jaw and the guide rail. When the movable jaw clamps the workpiece and receives force, it will bend the movable jaw upward, so that the workpiece is clamped by the movable jaw. One side of the mouth is lifted. In addition, when the end of the milling cutter close to the movable jaw just grinds the workpiece, the upward vertical milling assembly will lift the workpiece and the movable jaw upward. The above two situations will cause the reference surface and the guide rail Therefore, when milling the parallel surface, after the workpiece is clamped, tap the top surface of the workpiece with a copper hammer or a wooden hammer until the four ends of the two parallel pads are not loose.

(4) The plane of the workpiece close to the fixed jaw is not perpendicular to the reference plane: when the plane of the workpiece close to the fixed jaw is not perpendicular to the reference plane, the plane is close to the fixed jaw, so the reference plane must not The guide rail surface of the tongs is parallel. Therefore, when milling parallel surfaces, it is recommended not to place a round bar at the movable jaw. In single-piece production, a copper sheet can be placed above (or below) the fixed jaw to make the reference plane and the parallel spacer. Tight fit.
